As vegetable knives and chef knives are two different knives, so there is some difference between them.
- Vegetable knives are only used to cut vegetables. Whereas the chef’s knife is used to perform varieties of cutting tasks like- slicing meat, fruits, vegetables, and chopping onions.
- There have various types of vegetable knives in the market including paring knives, utility knives, and slicing knives. On the other hand, there also exist various types of chef knives in the market including Japanese chef’s knife, western chef’s knife, French and German chef’s knife.
- You can not cut meat effortlessly with a vegetable knife. But you can cut meat smoothly with a chef’s knife.
